Status Pages provide a consolidated view of the health and performance of various features across applications and environments. These pages can be used to communicate the status of your services to internal teams or external stakeholders, helping to maintain transparency and trust.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive Status Overview:
Status pages combine features across applications and environments of the same type (production or non-production). Display uptime and downtime for each feature, grouped by application and environment, for up to the past 90 days.
  • Public and Private Pages:
Create public status pages that can be accessed by anyone with the link, providing transparency to external stakeholders. Create private status pages that are accessible only to team members, ensuring that sensitive information remains internal.
  • Shareability:
Easily share status pages with team members or external stakeholders. Use public status pages to keep customers informed about the current status and historical performance of your services.
  • Custom Subdomains and Domains:
When you create a status page, a subdomain with the chosen name is automatically created. Link the status page to a custom domain for seamless branding and accessibility.

Example

Scenario: An e-commerce company wants to keep its customers informed about the status of its various services, such as payment processing, order fulfillment, and customer support. Action:
  • Create a public status page that combines features from the production environment.
  • The status page displays uptime and downtime for each service, grouped by application (e.g., Payment Processing, Order Fulfillment) and environment (Production).
  • The company links the status page to a custom domain (status.company.com) for easy access by customers.
Outcome: By providing a public status page, the e-commerce company maintains transparency with its customers, building trust and reducing support inquiries during service disruptions.
